Always thought the Cream studio version was too short. Effective, but just seemed "truncated" for lack of better words. Extended versions really wake "Badge" up. What I waited to hear for years. Bravo Mr C. Few if any can equal you.

Best rock drummer in the world at that time, and Top 10 all time for sure. Steve Gadd could play any genre. That cant be said for some of the alleged greats if the more modern era.

@@philipb.vaughn21 Listen to the tune from Grover, "East River Drive". This piece clearly, to me, has a very distinct sound to a slower version of East River Drive. I know Grovers music pretty well since I did a Smooth Jazz show many years ago, and played a lot of his stuff. It will hit you in the first minute of the tune. But do a comparison of these two and you will see what I mean. I would not doubt it for a nano-second that Grover played a huge influence in the music that Walter wrote.
